Montessori Olympaid
| A general camp that is the same thing as the traditional Olympiad but made for children 3 to 5 years of age this program is a morning program only. *Campers that need full-day camp will join other campers of the same age in the afternoon from the Traditional Olympiad. |

Acting Fundamentals
| An acting camp where the design is for beginning actors or individuals who want to continue developing their skills. The course will focus on monologues and scene work. Through ensemble work, character development, and improvisational techniques, students will build confidence as actors. Working together in a friendly, supportive environment will allow students to experience the excitement of the artistic process. Students are expected to memorize a two minute monologue before the last session. |

Adventure and Roll Playing Game Design
| A game design camp which provides the ultimate starter course in designing video games with no programming experience required. This class will instruct you in the use of several free game development systems: Inform7, the top software for creating (text based) interactive fiction; AGS, which creates graphical adventure games; and a variety of other simple video game creation tools. We will focus
on developing game design documents and concept art, and creating simple prototypes for several different game types of Adventure/RPG games, and drawing and designing graphics to be used in the games. This class is ideal for anyone looking for a head start in the field of video game design. Students will come away with a hands-on understanding of basic game design and the ability to indulge their creativity by using a number of freely available tools for basic game design. African Drumming
| A drumming camp where students get the opportunity to experience multicultural music and promote cultural awareness through African drumming. Utilizing traditional world rhythms, we offer a hands-on approach to helping students discover, play, and appreciate African culture. Africa is the source of nearly all rhythms played today in the world, and the drum beat is heard every day for communication, celebration, and fun. We’ll even learn how to make our own drum. Let’s celebrate our global citizenship! |

Archery
| An archery camp where students learn the fundamentals of archery-- shooting recurve bow and arrows, and learning safety and proper handling of archery equipment. In addition, they will learn proper technique and form according to the National Archery Coach’s specifications in the B.E.S.T. method (Biomechanical Efficient Shooting Technique). |

Authors Camp
| An authors camp that l focus on writing. The workshop will spotlight simple writing structure, topic selection, and handwriting. We will explore different kinds of writing – fiction, non-fiction, personal narrative, and poetry as well as explore different kinds of books – pop up, flap, accordion, and traditional.
Students will leave with personal book(s) they have published and great skills for the upcoming school year.9

| A basketball camp where students focus on basketball fundamentals, including teamwork, offensive moves, defensive strategies, and mental toughness. Players will work on dribbling, passing, rebounding, shooting, and defensive footwork. This camp builds upon skills through fun drills, competitions, shooting contests, 3 v. 3 and 5 v. 5 team tournaments. Players will leave camp ready to take their team to the finals! |

Camp Country Day
| A general camp where .students do activities that include cooking, crafts, organized games, swimming, team building activities, enrichment programs, and special visitors. Campers from 3 to 5 years of age in the traditional and Montessori camps will participate in on-site programs presented by The Civic Garden Center and the Wild Bird Center of Mason, in addition to weekly enrichment in yoga and Spanish. Campers in grades K-6 will participate in off campus trips to the Krohn Conservatory, Coco Key Water Resort, Newport Aquarium, Eastgate Adventures, Madison Bowl, United Dairy Farmers Factory, Children’s Museum, and a Cincinnati Reds Game at the Great American Ball Park. |
