Cincinnati Summer Chess Camps at Dragon Chess Center
This chess camp is for students with some basic knowledge and experience at chess. No absolute beginners. The students will be trained in the areas of strategies, tactics, openings, and endings. The purpose of this chess camp is to build a solid foundation and prepare students for chess tournaments.
Group and Private Chess Lessons in Cincinnati, Ohi at Dragon Chess Center
Dragon Chess Center is a chess training center for kids from K - 12 in Columbus and Cincinnati metropolitan areas in Ohio. We have weekly chess classes in weekday evenings and weekends and occasional internal chess tournaments and summer chess camps. Our goal is to promote chess among school age students. The Dragon Chess Center is for students at all levels from absolute beginners to grade level state champions.
Camp Art Academy at Art Academy of Cincinnati
Week 1: June 11 - 15, 2012: Connecting to Art Basics Campers will draw, paint, sculpt and use creative expressive to explore and review art basics in classes grouped by age, taught by professional artists and educators. Full and half-day classes, before and after care available.

Week 4: July 9-13: The Art of Craft Campers will learn about and practice skills and techniques helpful in creating both art and craft in hands-on classes grouped by age, taught by professional artists and educators. Full and half day classes, before and after care available.
Camp Art Academy at Art Academy of Cincinnati
Week 5: July 16-20, Look & Listen & Create Campers will look & listen to artists influenced by music and dance (Degas, Klee, Nick Cave) and use sounds to create hands-on artwork in classes, grouped by age, taught by professional artists and educators. Full and half-day classes; before and after care available.

Week 6, July 23-27, 2012: Cartooning Campers will sketch and draw cartoons and create comics & comic books in hands-on, visual arts classes taught by professional artists and educators. Classes grouped by age. 1/2 day or full day week, before and after care available.

Week 2: June 18 - 22, 2012: Art and Design Campers are going to study and put into practice design fundamentals in hands-on classes grouped by age, taught by professional artists and educators. Full day and half-day classes, before and after care available

Week 3: June 25-29: Art Inside/Out, Close Up/Far Away Campers will explore structure, relationships of size and viewpoints in art they create during hands-on classes, grouped by age, taught by professional artists and educators. Full day and half-day classes, before and after care available.
Madcamp! at Madcap Puppets
Your child will work with professional puppeteers and puppet builders throughout this fun-filled week, (June 25-29), to create a unique puppet or mask that they will learn to manipulate! Your child will also learn basic acting skills, how to create voices for their character and storytelling techniques. On the final day, your child will have the opportunity to show off their new skills (and their Madcap masterpiece!) to family and friends at our exciting, culminating event! Young Musicians at The Center For the Arts
A music camp where students are taught through singing, creative and structured movement, playing instruments and ensemble work, ear training and guided listening, reading and writing musical notation. Parents join for the last 10 minutes of class. Fee includes CDs, booklets, games, etc..
